REMOVAL OF DR ASIM’S NAME FROM ECL

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has summoned a reply from the Interior Ministry till April 25 while hearing a petition filed by Dr. Asim Hussain for obtaining his passport and removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL) here yesterday. The bench, in this regard, has issued notice to the interior ministry. The petition stated that Dr. Asim has been granted permission by Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) to travel abroad as the patient suffering from ailing back and severe kidney pain and the medical board has advised him for treatment abroad, hence his name should be removed from the ECL and passport should be released to him.
