KARACHI: The accountability court IV held the hearing of NAB reference No. 13/2016 filed against former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain & others yesterday.

The court had called prosecution witnesses namely; Mansoor Soomro and Wasiq Ilyas to record their statements for prosecution evidence and hearing on application of accused Muhammad Safdar filed u/s 94 r/w 265-C Cr.P.C. r/w Article 10-A of the Constitution.

The court had also called Abdul Hameed in NAB reference No. 13-A/2016 for prosecution evidence and hearing application of accused filed u/s 265-C r/w 94 Cr.P.C. r/w 540 Cr.P.C. r/w Article 10-A of Constitution.  The PWs produced photo copy of the Trust Deed dated 3-6-1981 in the name of Tajammul Hussain. They said that NAB investigation officer did not record their statement. The court announced to fix 19th January for next date of hearing.
