KARACHI: An Accountability Court yesterday returned a medical report by a medical board which examined Dr Asim Hussain former petroleum minister in detention since last one year. The court observed that report mentioned various tests about the ailment of Dr Asim but copies of the said tests are not enclosed. The court ordered medical board to produce the copies of those test reports on next date of hearing i.e September 21. Earlier, Anwar Mansoor Khan, the defence counsel submitted before the court that his client Dr Asim Hussain had visited the Aga Khan Hospital and Liaquat National Hospital for Hydrotherapy but both the hospitals informed that they do not have any such facility. Anwar Mansoor informed the court that this facility was available only in Dr Ziauddin Hospital but without court permission he does not want to approach there. Defence counsel requested the court to grant this permission. The court deferred the matter for further debate and adjourned the hearing till September 21.
