LONDON: Former petroleum minister and President PPP Karachi Division Dr Asim Hussain has been admitted in Harley Street Clinic for his spine operation. The hospital sources informed that he would be operated at 1 pm local time. It may be mentioned that the doctors had recommended ‘artificial spinal disc replacement’ to Dr Asim Hussain since he had been suffering from back ailment. The medical reports recommended for his disc replacement surgery in London as the treatment of such an ailment was not possible in Pakistan. Dr Asim’s family members have requested friends and well-wishers to pray for the success of this sensitive operation. A gathering for prayers for Dr Asim Hussain’s successful operation and early health recovery would be held at mosques of Dr Ziauddin Hospitals, Clifton and North Nazimabad.
