Dr Asim set to go abroad for treatment soon

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party, Karachi Division, President, Dr Asim Hussain is all set to visit UK for his medical treatment and to inquire about the health of his wife, who is hospitalised in London. After Supreme Court ordered the Interior Ministry to remove name of Dr Asim from Exit Control List and allowed him to travel abroad for a month to undergo medical treatment, his passport was returned by Sindh High Court three days back. The Interior Ministry, Director FIA, Director Immigration and Passports Islamabad and Chairman NAB are already been intimated by Dr Asim about his visit overseas. Informed sources have disclosed that the final phase of submitting surety of Rs 6 million in the trial court was in process of verification by the authorities of Defence Saving Certificates. After confirmation by the court he would be free to go abroad.
