KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader and former Federal Minister on Petroleum Resources Dr Asim Hussain has inaugurated a computerised domicile system in Deputy Commissioner’s Central Office. Administrator and Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem, MQM Pakistan Sindh Assembly Member Abbas Jaffery, Wasim Qureshi, PPP District President Masroor Ahsan, SSP Central Maroof were present at inauguration ceremony including Assistant Commissioners, Senior Bureaucrat Tariq Mustafa.
Dr Asim commended the efforts of Taha Saleem and his team on introducing modern technology providing facilities to people. He visited the main section and was briefed about computerised domicile system. Dr. Asim said that this facility would cater needs of people desirous to obtain domiciles for seeking jobs, education admissions and other purposes. DC Central Taha Saleem said that we are trying our level best to facilitate masses by bringing enhancementin the civic facilities across the district by means of innovation and advancement in our work in order to satisfy our people at par of international level. Later demonstration of automated domicile process working was shown to the attendees.. After its final execution, public will be relieved of many hassles. Five 5 leading computers have been provided in which expert computer operator of DC office will provide services.
