akistan Peoples’ Party leader and former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain has said that providing basic civic needs to citizens is foremost responsibility of local body administration in any civilised society. The taxpayers in cities have rights to enjoy best possible civic facilities and in this direction district administration is bound to provide their citizens with such facilities.

He said that all district municipal corporations in city are doing their best to cater civic facilities within their respective precincts and Sindh Local Body Minister is seen very much involved bringing betterment for providing civic facilities to people of Sindh.

In this connection, Dr Asim appreciated District Central Administration which is under Administrator and Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem  who is striving hard to provide every possible civic facility to its dwellers. Revamping and development of parks, playgrounds and bringing betterment in educational institutions and health facilities running under District Central are being given great importance and on ground, work is seen being carried out in this regard, Dr Asim remarked. He said if to serve people with zeal and honestly, every administration can bring change in lives of its citizens and this is evident if we talk about endeavours of District Central.
