KARACHI: Former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain has filed a petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad to conduct early hearing of the case to remove his name from the Exit Control List (ECL) as he needs to travel abroad in second week of July for treatment. Dr Asim stated that he should be permitted to go out of country for the sake of medication, and has already filed an appeal against the decision of Sindh High Court (SHC). He further said that the hearing of his case should be held on July 6. The petition to hear Dr Asim’s case early has been filed by Advocate Latif Khosa.
