DR ASIM TO UNDERGO MEDICAL CHECK-UP NEXT WEEK

LONDON: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader yesterday telephoned President PPP Karachi Division, Dr. Asim Hussain and inquired after his health condition. Zardari also prayed for his early recovery from illlness. Meanwhile, Dr. Asim underwent a spine procedure at Harley Street Clinic in London on Saturday and was recovering fast. His doctor yesterday checked him and after his satisfaction Dr. Asim was discharged from the clinic. Dr. Asim has been advised to visit again next week for a complete check-up. Earlier, talking to National Courier after an initial procedure before his spinal replacement, Dr. Asim Hussain said that his return to Pakistan is much more important than his surgery. He said his only wish is justice for himself and for those who charged him in false cases. The former minister also complained of getting a late treatment due to his prolonged imprisonment.
