Human are those who actually know what humanity is? Respect, trust, brotherhood, cooperation, nondiscriminatory perceptions irrespective of race, color and creed makes human the real conquerors in all walks of life. Yes, Labor Day teaches us the same lesson and morality that needs to be implemented at every organization throughout the world for attaining maximum success and anticipated objectives.

Labor Day is marked as an annual holiday being celebrated for honoring the dedication, passion, sincerity, determination of the ambiguous individuals and paying tribute to the workers achievements in the long run.

Labour Day background is known to all in the name of ‘Labor Union Movement’ also called as ‘Eight-Hour Day Movement’ back in 1810 with an aim of minimizing the extremely long working hours that may goes 16 to 18 hours a day sometimes and made human life miserable to a bad-tempered extent. This movement made it crystal clear to all and sundry that eight hours are designated for work, the another eight hours for recreational and leisure activities, and the remaining last eight hours for mental and physical relaxation of human.

Workforce is the composition of the total employees and labors working in any organization commonly engaged in routine activities and divided tasks for accomplishing both organizational and personal objectives and this workforce makes the organization a strong entity in every aspect. This workforce either can take the organization to the pinnacle or may take to massive and never-ending collapse.

Unquestionably, laborers are termed as the mainstay of every society globally. No country or any organization can prosper at any stage without coordinating and sustaining its workforce. In Pakistan also, none can deny its worth at any point of time. It exorbitantly aids a lot in the agricultural, industrial and in boosting the financial sector of our country.

The effective utilization of labor deliberately results in bringing huge economic growth and development in any country. It is the responsibility of the state to address all the genuine issues and grievances of the workers and resolve it in the stipulated time without any prejudice.

Government should take all possible steps to make a reasonable compensation plan for workers and must eradicate the exploitation of labor and maltreatment on any grounds and should make our country’s workforce stronger, educated, competent and vigorous than ever before.
