KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) yesterday sought comments from the National Accountability Bureau, Provincial Police Officer and others on a plea filed by Dr Asim Hussain, the former petroleum minister and Pakistan People’s Party Karachi president, seeking removal of his name from ECL. The SHC bench, headed by Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar, also issued notices to Deputy Attorney General, Advocate General Sindh and Home Secretary directing them to come up with the comments within two weeks. Dr Asim was bailed out in two NAB references on March 31, however his name was included in ECL on the court directives.
