KARACHI: The Accountability Court adjourned the hearing in NAB reference No.19/2016 (JJVL case) against former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain and others to 25th February yesterday. Due to illness of defence lawyer Anwer Mansoor Khan, Dr Asim was not brought to the court. Other accused SSGC ex-MD Shoaib Warsi, Zuhair Siddiqui, Khalid Rehman and Basharat Mirza were present at the court. The court expressed annoyance over delay in proceedings against another JJVL case accused Azeem Siddiqui as proclaimed offender and issued notice against Director General NAB (Sindh). The court also asked NAB Investigation Officer to submit a detailed report.
