KARACHI: Former petroleum minister and leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Dr Asim Hussain has been allowed by the accountability court to travel abroad for medical treatment.
He was allowed to travel abroad from October 2 to October 30.
Dr Asim through his counsel had moved an application during the previous hearing seeking the court’s permission to travel abroad. The court had ordered for the surgeon’s report in this regard.
During yesterday’s hearing, Dr Asim’s counsel submitted the medical report which verified that Dr Asim Hussain is seriously ill and needs immediate treatment.
