REGISTRAR’S OFFICE GETS AUTOMATED
Karachi: In the present computer age, the struggle to make Central District a model district by using computer facility in office matters is continuing. Senior PPP leader Dr. Asim Hussain along with Deputy Commissioner and Administrator Central District Taha Saleem inaugurated the biometric property registration. Assistant Commissioner Revenue Hazim Bangwar, Registrar North Nazimabad Syed Faiq Hussain Shah were also present on the occasion. It should be noted that under the biometric system, the details of all the property holders registered in the Registrar’s Office can be easily viewed on the computer. In this way, the level of corruptions in the sale and purchase of property will be prevented. On this occasion, Dr. Asim Hussain appreciated the launch of biometric system for property registration. Calling the introduction of biometric system as a welcome step, he said that the biometric system should be used in other registry offices. He also inquired about the problems of the people who came there for property registration. DC Taha Saleem’s initiative to save the people of Central District from hardships and to facilitate property transfer and registration is being lauded by the people.
It is observed that under the supervision of Dr Asim, District Central working in diversified areas for masses relief is gaining momentum with every passing day.From automation of various departments to cleanliness and illumination drives, anti-encroachment operation to abolishing of parking fees and parks entry ticket and several other similar initiatives widely appreciated by the residents in the District Central.
