KARACHI:Dr Asim Hussain, former petroleum minister and leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party has expressed his heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of senior journalist & Resident Editor Zamir Shaikh. May Allah rest the departed soul in peace and grant courage to bereaved family to bear the loss. He said that his selfless service in the field of journalism will always be remembered.
The Nation Karachi Resident Editor, Zamir Sheikh, passed away on Wednesday night in Karachi. He was 54. Sheikh was admitted to hospital. He was suffering from chronic liver disease Hepatoma and remained under treatment at different hospitals for the past two months. Sheikh has left behind a widow, three daughters and two sons.
