KARACHI: Abdul Qadir , member National Assembly of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) yesterday appeared in anti-terrorism court, just after few hours of returning back to Pakistan after which he was granted interim bail by the court.

Interim bail was filed on his behalf by Advocate Qadir Khan Mando Khel which stated that Patel did not call Dr. Asim for medical treatment of any terrorist neither he has any relation with them.

During the hearing, court observed that he would have landed into jail if he have not applied for protective bail.

The court also announced to approve Patel’s interim bail but also stated that permanent bail will only be granted after probing into the facts.

Patel said that Dr. Asim never used to receive his phone and he has nothing to do with medical treatment of Lyari gang war members and other terrorists.
