ANCHORS WHO MALIGNED ME FACING ALLAH’S WRATH

KARACHI: The crisis faced by the MQM-P is usual and there is nothing strange, as political parties face such crisis of making and splitting, said former petroleum minister and leader of the Pakistan People’s Party Dr Asim Hussain. This is a power struggle, it goes on, he added.  About Senate elections he said that his party would win  more seats this time.

He was replying to questions from the media outside the accountability court IV , yesterday which resumed hearing of a reference against him after his return from follow up treatment in London. The court has fixed Feb 12 as the next date of hearing in the NAB Reference No. 13/2016.

Dr Asim said that Asif Zardari’s public meeting in Lahore was sizeable and successful. He said many people from the MQM were willing to join the PPP, as I was abroad, the real position may be explained by the sitting Karachi division president of the party.

Replying to a question, he said he also came to know that he has been re-appointed as chairman Sindh Higher Education Commission.

Dr Asim thanked the media members for remembering him and said that the country’s political situation was uncertain. He said the anchors who run undue and false campaign against me are being punished by Allah Almighty. Three anchors had already suffered the debacle while the fourth one is nowadays facing the music. Another anchor with hair transplant would also very soon see the result of his excessiveness and the wrath of God Almighty. This is my prayer, Dr Asim concluded.
