DOZENS IN UNIFORM, PLAIN CLOTHESMEN HARRAS SERVANTS

KARACHI: More than a dozen heavily armed men in police uniform and plain clothes forcibly entered into the residence of Dr Rubina, sister of Dr Asim Hussain, Preisdent PPP, Karachi division yesterday. The intruders grabbed a chowkidar and a cook available in the house, held them hostage and forced them to unlock all the rooms. They broke open a room as key was not available with the servants. They ransacked all the rooms and Almirahs etc. Luckily, Dr Rubina was not at her residence at the time of the incident and was discharging duty at Dr Zia-uddin Hospital. A number of police vehicles were seen in and around the house located in Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society (SMCHS), block 6 , eye witnesses said who gather at the corner of the lane in view of suspicious activities around the house. No arrest warrant or judicial paper was available with the raiding party. A FIR has been lodged at Tippu Sultan PS against Federal Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan and Chairman NAB, Qamar-uz-Zaman Choudhry.
